Thanks to a request from a HCA student the Library currently has trial access to the Vanity Fair Magazine Archive from EBSCO, which presents an extensive collection of the popular magazine in a comprehensive cover-to-cover format, dating from its very first issue in 1913.
You can access Vanity Fair Magazine Archive via the E-resources trials page.
Trial access ends 3rd May 2024.
Published by Conde Nast Publications, Vanity Fair highlights artists, illustrators and writers providing in-depth coverage and social commentary. Beginning with the Jazz Age, the archive chronicles popular culture, fashion, celebrity portraiture and politics through the years.
The original version of Vanity Fair featured popular, avant-garde covers for its first run from September 1913 through February 1936. The magazine was relaunched 47 years later in March 1983 with a new cover look focused on celebrity portraits and political figures. This archive covers the years 1913-1936 and 1983-2015.
You can access the Vanity Fair Magazine Archive via the E-resources trials page.
Trial access ends 3rd May 2024.
Feedback welcome.
Please note, trial access to a resource is an opportunity for our staff and students to try a resource out and give feedback on its quality and usefulness. However, if we trial a resource this is not an indication that we plan to or will be able to purchase or subscribe to the resource in the near future.
