I’m pleased to let you know that following requests from students in SPS and a successful trial last year the Library has now subscribed to IndiaStat.
Access is available through the Databases A-Z list or the South Asian Studies databases list. Access is available both on and off-campus with your EASE username and password.
Please note, once onto the site you must click the “Login” link at the top of page and click the “IP Login” option to get access. The site only allows 1 simultaneous user at a time so when you are finished please ensure you always click the “Logout” link at the top of page. If you don’t do this you may be preventing another user from getting access to the site.

Caroline Stirling – Academic Support Librarian for Social and Political Science
Hi, is IndiaStat still accessible through the library?
Hi, unfortunately we had to cancel our subscription to IndiaStat a few years ago due to a price increase and lack of usage at the University. If you’re interested in it then do contact your Academic Support Librarian (http://edin.ac/2Nytbwj) to see if a trial might be possible. Thank you.
