Future Science E-Journals – new subscription

We have signed up to the new Future Science Group Journals ‘Read & Publish’ Transitional Agreement 2021-2022. This agreement offers read access to 20 hybrid journals along with immediate open access publishing in these titles and FSG’s 15 fully open access titles for all authors at participating institutions, for all article types, for a fixed fee.

Future Science Group publishes 35 STM journals across three imprints: Future Medicine Ltd, Future Science Ltd and Newlands Press Ltd. Journals cover basic and clinical areas of biomedicine, and the portfolio includes titles such as BioTechniques, Future Oncology, Nanomedicine, Epigenomics, Immunotherapy, Bioanalysis, and Regenerative Medicine.

Following a successful trial last year, we now subcribe to Science Immunology and Science Robotics, both published by the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS).

Science Immunology – research articles that report critical advances in all areas of immunological research, including important new tools and techniques.

Science Robotics – original, peer-reviewed, science- or engineering-based research articles that advance the field of robotics.

With these additional subscriptions, the University of Edinburgh now provide access to the full suite of journals published by AAAS:

Science, the premier global science weekly.

Science Signaling, the leading journal of cell signaling and regulatory biology.

Science Translational Medicine, integrating medicine, engineering and science to promote human health.

Science Advances, an innovative and high-quality open access journal for all the sciences.

MyiLibrary e-book changes

E-books hosted on the MyiLibrary website will transfer over to Ebook Central on the evening of Wednesday 18th April.

We have been advised that bookmarks, highlights and saved notes will not transfer – please see these instructions (opens PDF) on how to manually export notes if required.

If you had used the ‘Patron bookshelf’ facility, you will need to re-create this on Ebook Central.
