Web of Science Upgrade Sunday 19th October

Trial – Vetus Latina database

i_vldlogo_mediumWe have trial access to Vetus Latina database on the Brepolis platform until the 7th November. You will need to click “Enter database” to accept the terms and conditions of use before access is given to the database.  Access is available on and off campus.

The Vetus Latina Database is an electronic index to all Greek and Latin patristic citations or allusions to the pre-Vulgate editions of the Bible, collected by the Vetus Latina Institut in Beuron, Germany.

Trial – Women and Social Movements, International Archive

Women and Social Movements, International is a landmark collection of primary materials. Through the writings of women activists, their personal letters and diaries, and the proceedings of conferences at which pivotal decisions were made, this collection lets you see how women’s social movements shaped much of the events and attitudes that have defined modern life.

Trial – Defining Gender, 1450-1910

logoWe have trial access to Defining Gender, 1450-1910 until 23rd October on campus or via the VPN.

Defining Gender includes a broad range of thematically organised documents from 21 libraries providing an excellent opportunity for comparative study and research. Manuscripts, printed works and illustrations combine to address the key issues from both masculine and feminine perspectives. They are indexed to provide ready accessibility for students by person and subject across all five sections.

Please note that PDF download options are not available during trials.

Anatomy & Physiology Online – new e-resource

Primal's-3D-Human-Anatomy--Physiology

 

Anatomy & Physiology Online (Primal Pictures) has now been added to our A-Z list and will appear on our catalogue soon.  Anatomy & Physiology Online provides 20 interactive modules on human anatomy and physiology, with 3D images, animations, audio, text articles, case studies and quizzes.

 

Ecoinvent – new database

Ecoinvent has been added to our A-Z list of databases and catalogue.  Ecoinvent database version 3.1 offers science-based, industrial, international life cycle assessment (LCA) and life cycle management (LCM) data and services. ecoinvent logo

Access to this database is via specific user name and password.
