Anatomy & Physiology Online (Primal Pictures) has now been added to our A-Z list and will appear on our catalogue soon. Anatomy & Physiology Online provides 20 interactive modules on human anatomy and physiology, with 3D images, animations, audio, text articles, case studies and quizzes.
We now subscribe to SAGE Research Methods. This provides access to 700+ e-books, encyclopaedias, videos and journal articles. SAGE Research Methods supports beginning and advanced researchers in every step of a research project, from writing a research question, choosing a method, gathering and analyzing data, to writing up and publishing the findings. With information on the full range of qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods for the social and behavioral sciences, as well as many methods commonly used in the hard sciences, the book, reference, and journal content in SAGE Research Methods help researchers of all levels conduct their research.

Ecoinvent has been added to our A-Z list of databases and catalogue. Ecoinvent database version 3.1 offers science-based, industrial, international life cycle assessment (LCA) and life cycle management (LCM) data and services.

Access Engineering provides access to over 200 engineering reference sources; 5,000 interactive graphs and downloadable tables and charts; personalization tools; instructional videos. Includes Perry’s Chemical Engineers Handbook, Marks Standard Handbook for Mechanical Engineers, Roark’s Formulas for Stress and Strain, Standard Handbook for Electrical Engineers.
The Casalini full text platform (Torrossa) provides access to a selection of 1,867 scholarly e-books from Italian and Spanish academic publishers since 2000 for Edinburgh University 
users. The collection consists of 1,188 titles on Italian studies and Italian literature and 679 titles on Spanish studies. The books are in Italian or Spanish and can be either downloaded or viewed online in PDF format (it is necessary to disable pop-up blockers on your web browser and also in your Google tool bar if applicable). The Library now subscribes to the full collection of SAE Technical Papers available within the SAE Digital Library. This provides access to over 90,000 technical papers from the Society of Automotive Engineers, ranging from 1906 to the present day. Papers are available in the fields of design engineering, aerospace 
engineering, advanced materials, power and propulsion, transportation, tests and testing, fuels, energy sources, safety etc.

Accessible Archives has been added to our A-Z list of databases – Eyewitness accounts of 
historical events, vivid descriptions of daily life, editorial observations, commerce as seen through advertisements, and genealogical records. Includes archives from African American Newspapers, American County Histories, Civil War archives and many other eighteenth and nineteenth century newspaper and journal archives.

GeoRef and GeoScienceWorld have now been added to our General A-Z list and Geosciences A-Z list.
GeoRef contains 3.4 million bibliographic records to the geosciences literature. Over 3,500 journals are reviewed for indexing in the GeoRef database as well as books, maps, government reports, conference papers, theses and dissertations. It is hosted on the GeoScienceWorld platform where we now have access to the full text of 45 e-journals published by 28 publishers. A list of these can be browsed here and have been added to our catalogue and Searcher.
We have increased our e-book holdings with the following providers.

We added a further 185 e-books to Cambridge Books Online. A list of the new titles is available here and these have all been added to our catalogue.
We have added a further 107 title to the Dawsonera platform. A list of the new titles is available here and these have all been added to our catalogue.
We have added to our existing collections on the Eastview platform with the purchase of Kotobarabia: Arab Leaders, Historians and Philosophers collection. This contains approximately 5,000 titles from nearly 1,000 important Arab thinkers, philosophers, historians, politicians, and 
theologians in the Arab world. Topics cover feminism, modern medicine, political reforms, including the Orabi Revolution, education, arts, religion, and more. The collection includes works by the Four Imams of the Sunni Sect, the Al Azhar Modern Sheikhs; various authors of the Modern Arab Enlightenment, and rare works by the former Egyptian royal family.

We have signed a new deal with Wiley which gives us access to 2013 and 2014 published e-books in all subject areas. Our catalogue will be regularly updated as new titles are
