The draft programme for Repository Fringe 2016, which will take place on 1st & 2nd August at the University’s John McIntyre Conference centre, is now available.
Now in its ninth year and described as “the UK repository community’s unmissable gathering”, this may be of interest to some of you.
The Library has trial access – until the end of June – to ImageQuest, a unique collection of over 3,000,000 rights-cleared images from 59 of the world’s image houses.
The Library has purchased a further electronic resource from the Past Masters series in the shape of the collected works of the American philosopher, psychologist and educational reformer, John Dewey. Continue reading
The Library is in the process of obtaining the complete collection of these ancient Greek commentaries on Aristotle, which were originally gathered together and edited in the series Commentaria in Aristotelem Graeca (CAG). The 23 volumes in the series were first published by Reimer of Berlin between 1882 and 1909.

We now have trial online access – until 20th May 2016 – to the Historical Archive of the famous Illustrated London News, which covers the entire run from the inaugural edition of May 1842 to 2003 when publication ceased.
