  1. I recently made a short film in the National Library of Scotland’s conservation workshop which may be of interest to you.Over several weeks, I followed the work of Claire Thomson, conservator, as she worked on the conservation process of The Annals of the Artists of Spain’ by William Stirling Maxwell (1847), the first book on art to be illustrated with photographic images. It was effectively the first book on Art History.
