The Friends were delighted to be able to view a selection of treasures from the Library&#8217;s Special Collections in the Funk Reading Room.\u00a0These included\u00a0<a title=\"Treasures of New College Library \u2013 Andrew Melville\u2019s Bible\" href=\"http:\/\/libraryblogs.is.ed.ac.uk\/newcollegelibrarian\/2014\/08\/01\/treasures-of-new-college-library-andrew-melvilles-bible\/\" target=\"_blank\">Andrew Melville&#8217;s Bible,<\/a> an early <a title=\"Greek New Testament\" href=\"http:\/\/libraryblogs.is.ed.ac.uk\/newcollegelibrarian\/2012\/11\/15\/new-college-librarys-earliest-bible\/\" target=\"_blank\">Greek New Testament<\/a>, a <a title=\"Bibles at New College Library\" href=\"http:\/\/libraryblogs.is.ed.ac.uk\/newcollegelibrarian\/2013\/11\/14\/in-the-beginning-was-the-word-bibles-at-new-college-library\/\" target=\"_blank\">Bassandyne Bible<\/a> and a Geneva Bible.
