Have you got yourself into a muddle using legal resources online? Do you just need to know what you need to know?<\/p>\n<p>Book a one-to-one meeting with our Law Librarian team to discuss your research issues or library problems. In previous one-to-ones we\u2019ve helped students with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>search strategies<\/li>\n<li>using our subscription databases<\/li>\n<li>finding international case law<\/li>\n<li>finding historical Scots material online (specifically the Institutional Writers)<\/li>\n<li>referencing (specifically using OSCOLA)<\/li>\n<li>setting up news alerts for cases or legislation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We arrange appointments once a fortnight using the MyEd booking system. Search for \u201cLiterature search clinic\u201d and select the Law specific event, or search for \u201cLaw\u201d and select provider group \u201cIS Library and University Collections\u201d to find all our Law related training. Future dates include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>19th January<\/li>\n<li>9th February<\/li>\n<li>23rd February<\/li>\n<li>1st March<\/li>\n<li>15th March<\/li>\n<li>30th March<\/li>\n<li>13th April<\/li>\n<li>4th May<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Please note: due to our current staffing situation these appointments are all on Wednesdays and Thursdays. If you require a different day please get in touch. <\/em><\/p>\n<p>We release appointments approximately three weeks before each scheduled date. This semester we&#8217;re trialling a combination of online and in-person appointments so when you book feel free to contact us to discuss how you would prefer to meet.
