{"id":55,"date":"2015-05-11T19:14:28","date_gmt":"2015-05-11T19:14:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/libraryblogs.is.ed.ac.uk\/jiscdatavault\/?p=55"},"modified":"2015-05-11T19:14:28","modified_gmt":"2015-05-11T19:14:28","slug":"month-2-project-meeting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/libraryblogs.is.ed.ac.uk\/jiscdatavault\/2015\/05\/11\/month-2-project-meeting\/","title":{"rendered":"Month 2 project meeting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Data Vault project is three months long, and is a collaboration between the universities of Edinburgh and Manchester. \u00a0Due to the short nature of the project, we have decided to hold monthly meetings. \u00a0The <a href=\"http:\/\/libraryblogs.is.ed.ac.uk\/jiscdatavault\/2015\/04\/07\/data-vault-project-kickoff-meeting\/\">first of these<\/a> was held in Manchester University Library in April.<\/p>\n<p>We held the second project meeting on Tuesday 5th May in Edinburgh University Library. \u00a0One of the main focus points of the meeting was on storage and architecture. \u00a0We were therefore luck that experts in these areas attended from both universities.<\/p>\n<p>The agenda for the meeting was:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Overview and introductions for architecture\/infrastructure attendees<\/li>\n<li>Review of the last month<\/li>\n<li>User cases and workflows<\/li>\n<li>Filesystem \/ transfer security (user credentials) &#8211;
