*The Library has purchased the Vanity Fair Magazine Archive and this can be accessed via Newspapers, Magazines and Other News Sources<\/a> or the Databases A-Z<\/a>*<\/strong><\/p>\n

Thanks to a request from a HCA student the Library currently has trial access to the Vanity Fair Magazine Archive<\/strong> from EBSCO, which presents an extensive collection of the popular magazine in a comprehensive cover-to-cover format, dating from its very first issue\u00a0in 1913.<\/p>\n

Published by Conde Nast Publications,\u00a0Vanity Fair<\/em>\u00a0highlights artists, illustrators and writers providing in-depth coverage and social commentary. Beginning with the Jazz Age, the archive chronicles popular culture, fashion, celebrity portraiture and politics through the years.<\/p>\n

The original version of\u00a0Vanity Fair<\/em>\u00a0featured popular, avant-garde covers for its first run from September 1913 through February 1936.\u00a0<\/em>The magazine was relaunched 47 years later in March 1983 with a new cover look focused on celebrity portraits and political figures. This archive covers the years 1913-1936 and 1983-2015.<\/p>\n
