You will also be able to access it from <a href=\"https:\/\/discovered.ed.ac.uk\/discovery\/search?vid=44UOE_INST:44UOE_VU2&amp;lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DiscoverEd<\/a> within the next few days.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The <strong>South Asia Archive<\/strong> is an extensive resource for students and scholars across the humanities and social sciences. The historical documents within the Archive are interdisciplinary, reflecting the varied range of knowledge production in colonial and early post-colonial India and the wider sub-continent.<\/p>\n<p>Comprising material sourced from collectors and archivists by the South Asia Research Foundation, the resource contains millions of pages of digitised primary and secondary material in a mix of English and vernacular languages dating back to the start of the 18th Century, up to the mid-20th Century including journals, reports, books,\u00a0 legislation documents and Indian film booklets<\/p>\n<p>You can access <strong>South Asia Archive<\/strong> via the <a href=\"https:\/\/edinburgh-uk.libguides.com\/primary-sources\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Digital Primary Source and Archive Collections<\/strong> <strong>guide<\/strong><\/a> or the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ed.ac.uk\/information-services\/library-museum-gallery\/finding-resources\/library-databases\/databases-a-z\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong> Databases A-Z list<\/strong><\/a>.
