Interested in Digital Preservation? Come along to our ‘Edinburgh Preserves’ event!

If you’re in the Edinburgh area on the 16th February and would like to hear/learn a bit more about local Digital Preservation projects and activities, or if you even have just a remote interest in digital preservation and want to hear what its all about, come along to our first ‘Edinburgh Preserves’ Digital Preservation meet up.

The invitation is open to anyone from any location and commences at 17:30 on Monday 16th February (expected to finish at approx 19:30). We have an action packed early evening planned with presentations from the National Library of Scotland, National Records of Scotland, Edinburgh and Glasgow University, RCAHMS and EDINA! Plus there’s nibbles and drinkies and an opportunity to chat to the presenters and attendees about…well anything really.

It promises to be a really exciting evening and we hope it will be the catalyst for many more similar sessions that facilitate cross collaboration and support, and provide professionals with new networks through which they can address or source help with their digital archiving needs.

If you’d like to come along please complete the registration form as attendance is limited to 50.
