Founded in 1838 to serve the British residents of West India, <em>The Times of India<\/em> now circulates more than 4 million copies, covering almost 8 million readers.<\/p>\n<p>The archive provides you with online, easily-searchable first-hand accounts and unparalleled coverage of the politics, society and events of the time.
