You can filter your search results by \u201conline resource\u201d to double check in case there is an ebook there. For more guidance on how to do this, check out the recording of our session &#8216;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/media.ed.ac.uk\/media\/How+to+find+online+library+collections+for+your+studies+using+DiscoverEd\/1_i57ppk3r\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">How to find online library resources for your studies using DiscoverEd<\/a><\/strong>&#8216;.<\/p>\n<p>Then consider whether the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ed.ac.uk\/information-services\/library-museum-gallery\/using-library\/request-resources\/scan-and-deliver\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Scan &amp; Deliver<\/strong><\/a> service could be useful, if you just need one chapter of a print book or 1 journal article.<\/p>\n<p>Consider using the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ed.ac.uk\/information-services\/library-museum-gallery\/using-library\/request-resources\/ill\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Inter Library Loan<\/a><\/strong> service to get digitised journal articles or book chapters.<\/p>\n<p>You can also use the student <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ed.ac.uk\/information-services\/library-museum-gallery\/using-library\/request-resources\/resource-purchase-request\/student-request-a-book-rab\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Request a Book<\/a><\/strong> (RAB) service to ask the library to purchase an ebook or another copy of a print book.<\/p>\n<p>You could also try the various online archives of (sometimes \u2018out of print\u2019) books.
