As the exam period approaches, it\u2019s natural to start feeling the pressure build. But remember, you\u2019re not alone!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At the University of Edinburgh, there are plenty of resources and services designed to support you every step of the way. But there are lots of study spaces across our campuses that you have access to, including some temporary additional study space during the exam period.<\/p>\n<p>While the Main Library is a favourite for many, there are 8 other site libraries that you have access to (with your student card). Or the ever-popular <a href=\"https:\/\/science-engineering.ed.ac.uk\/nucleus-building\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nucleus<\/a> at King&#8217;s Buildings (right next door to the <a href=\"https:\/\/library.ed.ac.uk\/using-library\/lib-locate\/murray-library\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Murray Library<\/a>), which offers around 400 study spaces? At King&#8217;s Buildings you&#8217;ll also find <a href=\"https:\/\/information-services.ed.ac.uk\/computing\/desktop-personal\/open-access\/locations\/kings-buildings\/murchison-house\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Murchison House<\/a> which has nearly 300 study spaces available (although note that the computing labs are sometimes used for exams).<\/p>\n<p>And that&#8217;s not all, <strong>additional study spaces<\/strong> are being made temporarily available in the lower ground floor of 40 George Square from the 1st December to the 19th December (subject to demand). LG.07-LG.11 will be available for independent study use for the same opening hours as the Study Hub, while LG.06 will be available Mon-Fri, 9am-4.50pm.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/information-services.ed.ac.uk\/students\/study-space\/study-space-info\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Locations and opening hours of study spaces<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>And remember to check locally in your School. Our <strong>Leisure Reading Collection (Libby)<\/strong> gives you access to a huge range of popular fiction and non-fiction titles, as either e-books or audiobooks. Access is via the Libby app or via your web browser.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Library&#8217;s Wellbeing Collection<\/strong> contains resources on all aspects of wellbeing, including University life, depression, exercise, anxiety, loneliness, sleep, relationships, happiness, and much more. You can browse and borrow from the Wellbeing Collection Space on the 1st floor of the Main Library or browse the full collection for e-books as well.
